I won an RFP to provide training and advisory to the video production team of Hand in Hand for Aid Development (HIHFAD) which is a Charity who employ over 500 staff in Syria and 100 staff in various offices around Europe. They have a lot of projects including supplying water treatment facilities and training midwives. Their aim for this contract was to increase the quality and visual consistency of their content output and increase reach through Youtube.

On March 22nd I flew to Istanbul to spend 4 days exploring the city and then on to Gaziantep, 97 KM north of Aleppo. I was greeted by an amazing video team, all of whom were Syrians and who have spent a lot of time working in Syria. They explained to me their Arabic influenced production methods and how they differed from western production models. HIHFAD has over 10 social channels to cater for both Arabic and Western donors.
