With 10 months of pre production, this event took me to Antarctica in partnership with Antarctica New Zealand. I was the Technical and Creative Director for the show responsible for all technical delivery aspects including show, film, photography and audio elements. I worked with a team of 5 (including myself) to bring the speakers, sponsors, event production and budget together. This was a non-profit production in support of awareness of our changing climate. I am very proud to have been a part of this team. I am also proud to have brought in technical sponsors Canon Imaging, DPA Microphones, Lytro and The New Zealand Broadcasting School.

Instead of bringing attendees to Antarctica, TEDxScottBase will be relayed to the world in a unique and cutting edge fashion. Not only will the event be broadcast in its entirety around the globe, but live viewing events led by TEDxScottBase Ambassadors will be held worldwide. Ambassadors will facilitate discussions between their viewing event communities and the TEDxScottBase team and speakers, as well as create a dialogue on issues and subject matter which emerge from the TEDxScottBase event. All of this will take place one week after the event itself, on Saturday 21st January 2017.
